What GoGo Skateboarding (Owen Skateboards) likes about The Esk Cafe:
The battered haggis and black pudding was delicious, but I'd personally rate the creamy haggis a little higher due to the black pudding being so rich it was almost overwhelming. Absolutely top tier battered food View all feedback. What stewhit123 doesn't like about The Esk Cafe:
Worst fish and chips I’ve ever had.... soggy fish rock hard tasteless chips if I hadn’t driven away I’d have got my Money back £8.50 !! Not worth £1.50) Never again View all feedback.

read moreThe Esk Cafe has received a mixed bag of reviews lately. Some customers were disappointed in the quality of their meals, citing poorly filleted fish, burnt chips, and missing menu items. Others praised the delicious battered haggis and black pudding, as well as the generous portions and friendly staff. Despite some setbacks, the Esk Cafe managed to save the day for a large birthday party, providing tasty food with excellent service. While the prices have increased, many still find the food worth it, with some willing to travel extra miles for their chips. Overall, the Esk Cafe seems to have its ups and downs, but remains a popular choice for many.
