The service is efficient, with pleasant staff members like Nicola, and the food is surprisingly good, especially the crispy fish batter. While some customers have experienced slow service or dry bread rolls, overall the cafe provides great value for money, especially for travelers looking to refuel off the motorway. With efficient service, pleasant staff, and a variety of tasty options, the Tesco cafe is a convenient and satisfying choice for a quick bite while on the go.
Ordered vegan sausage in bread roll, bread roll was very dry and they tried to mask the fact with butter. Returned to counter and given refund . there was no sorry just dry response
After finishing work, I went to Tesco around ten to five with two companions. We were disappointed to be told that there was no cooked food available, which has happened before. The restaurant used to be much better.
I was very impressed with the Tesco cafe. The server, Nicola, was very friendly. The food was surprisingly good for a supermarket cafe, and the service was quick. I highly recommend it and think it's worth a visit.
Rather than having a full breakfast at nearby Brewers Fayre opted to have one here as we were travelling north. Cafe very quiet and as not very hungry chose just a bacon buttie and a drink. Although bacon was tasty there was only two small pieces in bloomer bread sandwich. Guess it would be better to have a small breakfast should we use this facility again.
Had a breakfast as did my husband .....yes it was cooked (just) but the eggs were like rubber and the sausages were pale not cooked well at all .....I complained and got 2 more sausages only one of which was cooked correctly and it was cold and the first woman I told ignored me ...wont be back and wont recommend
