What hendy55 doesn't like about Gretna Bakery:
I stopped in for a cup of tea and coffee and I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life. Our drinks were slammed down on the table with no conversation or acknowledgement. However, when the locals arrived, we noticed friendly chatter and banter. It seems they just don't like strangers. View all feedback.
I stopped at this charming café connected to a bakery during a bike ride. I ordered a delicious hot coffee, a sausage roll, and a piece of millionaire's shortbread. It was exactly what I needed. The staff was friendly and the restrooms were clean.
Utterly appauled at how rude staff were, extremely unwelcoming, a far better greeting at the café across the road

Excellent breakfast rolls with plenty of lean bacon and freshly baked rolls, fantastic start to anyone’s day...
We went in here for breakfast after spending the night at 'Home from Home ' because although the establishment was very comfortable they did not provide breakfast. We were amazed at the quality of the breakfast provided I had the small English breakfast but it was certainly as much as I could eat! The display of cakes etc. was magnificent (and very reasonably priced) but as soon as we had finished our breakfast I got my wife out before she started yielding to temptation!
