Reviews summary
Experience at the restaurant was mixed. While some dishes were good, they were also expensive. The seafood linguini lacked flavor and the pizza was missing some key ingredients. The coffee was extremely bitter. On a positive note, the Mateo Mule was enjoyable. The service was impeccable, with personal recommendations for wine pairings. Despite some shortcomings, the pasta and antipasto were delicious. The owner was hands-on and made the dining experience special. Though not spectacular, the meals were enjoyable. The restaurant also offers a nice wine selection and local beer. Overall, a decent option for Italian cuisine.

Excellent Italian food. We loved it and went twice so that the whole family could try more dishes. I would recommend the Penne with mushrooms, the fish of the day (ultra-fresh cod, not spoiled by too many other things in the plate: just a bit...of tomatoes and green veggies on a bed of small pastas). Excellent cocktails (basilico, litchi martini). Yummy tiramisu and canoli. It’s been a long time since I haven’t had s... View all feedback.
What Corinne Michelet dislikes about Tosca:
The service was good. Pasta is priced at $25-30. The dishes were lacking in flavor. Really disappointing. I do not recommend this place. How can carbonara pasta in an Italian restaurant taste like nothing at all? View all feedback.

The food was good but pricey. We drank a very good wine suggested by the sommelier, but the suggestion didn't fit with the meal. There was plenty of very good wine on the card, we would have been better served in choosing ourselves. Besides, the seafood pizza was good, but not excellent and with very little seafood on the topping. The salad was good but very simple and expensive for what we got. This is not the best Italian restaurant I went to, but not necessarily a very bad choice if you don't care about what you will pay.
We paid $11 for a small portion of white wine and a Piccata dish that lacked lemon flavor and was overly oily, despite requesting minimal butter or oil. Despite the disappointing start, we were eventually able to order a satisfactory vegetarian pizza after flagging down our server.

Small part at the price. The invoice was far too expensive for the quantity received. It is a super-equipment, a tourist trap service: type of meal: dinner price per person: CA$60–70
Service: Dine in Meal Type: Dinner Price per person: CA$40–50 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Very delicious food, but I think the servings are a little poor except for pizza. Service: Dine in Meal Typ: Mittagessen Preis pro Person: CA$40–50 Essen: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphäre: 5.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The Italian food was amazing, and we were given excellent service. Bon Appétit !

The food and the service were very good as usual. Too bad is closing for the season at Thanksgiving weekend but we will come back next summer for sure
The food was good, but expensive. We drank a very good wine proposed by Sommelier, but the proposal did not match the meal. There were many very good wines on the map, we would have been better served at the choice itself. In addition, the seafood pizza was good, but not excellent and with very little seafood on the jump. The salad was good, but very simple and expensive for what we have. This is not the best Italian restaurant I went to, but not necessarily a very bad choice if you don't care what you will pay.
Great address. Amazing service and food. Made our last night in Gaspésie unforgettable.
