Nice young man (and his family) behind bar let me sample all the beers and explained the different tastes. Ending up buying Dr. Feelgood IPA and have been back a couple of times for more. View all feedback.
What René Guillet doesn't like about Stalwart Brewing Company:
Stalwart's somewhat unfavourable location makes it a little hard to notice from the main street, but it is a nice location once you get there. Just off of the main street downtown, they currently offer 4 different types of beer. The business seems to be relatively new and still working out some of the kinks, but they will come around with time. It has a lot of potential and the beer is good. View all feedback.
Bought 4 of their beer and so far can't decide which one is my favorite. They are all excellent and I will for sure go back. Staff was awesome too....
Craft beer maker near downtown Carleton Place. A few tables and 6 or 7 beers to try. Couldn't find one I really liked, but I bought a couple to take home to try. Nah. Thanks, anyway.
Love stopping in to say hello and enjoy all the different beers.Love leaving with the variety pack in tow. Enjoy the back stories for the beer names. Great guys and fantastic set up. Great bunch of guys put this plan together and came up with a winning recipe for a business. Wish them all the success, they are off to a fantastic start with great tasting beers!
Decided to drop in here on a drive through Carleton Place and was happy I did. First off, in agreement with another review, it is hard to find the place the first time, but going forward I'll be ok. There is minimal parking, but on-street is plentiful. The brewery is a smallish store front, but welcoming. The man behind the counter was nice & knowledgeable, and readily engaged me in conversation. He offered samples and explained what each was. I ended up leaving with a can of their ale and stout, looking forward to cracking them open soon!Prices are reasonable, and on par with what you'd expect to pay for a 500mL can elsewhere.
