Was Chanel Lemke at Gallery One a mag?
This is a fantastic place to grab a nice bite to eat you don't feel you are in a shopping centre. In fact I wished that they opened longer hours as I'd love to have dinner there. A great selection of meals, amazing deserts...and cakes are on offer and fabulous selection of wines. View all feedback.

What Soledad Ziemann dislikes about Gallery One:
I had breakfast at the restaurant this morning and have to say was one of the worst experiences ever. Firstly, took extremely long to get our food. When our coffee's were brought to the table, the waiter literally threw it onto the table and left!...Was awful When the food came, they forgot my side order of haloumi which they brought later. We were not offered any salt and pepper. We finally managed to get a waiter's... View all feedback.

Like all shopping centre's Carindale has a food hall with all the standard favourites, your food chains with quick easy take away meals in a standard clinical atmosphere. If you are looking for something that is a bit more of a dining experience however and where you can meet with family or friends then I recommend Gallery One as a good option.First of all it is set up like a restaurant rather than a fast food joint so you get the full waiter experience, a menu with something for everyone and tables that allow you to chat to friends rather than a grab food and go type of experience. The menu is extensive with lots of vegetarian and gluten free options and service is quick and friendly. The food is hot, reasonably priced and will satisfy most hungry shoppers. There is an Italian leaning to the menu but there are all the good old favourites that you might describe as cafe or pub style grub and whilst the menu is reasonably simple they add enough of a spark and flavour to their dishes to make them interesting.Certainly beats grabbing a Maccas or greasy takeaway for me and I will always head here for a bite if I am in the Carindale shopping centre.

The excellent coffee was offset well by the friendly staff. Shame we didn't have time for cake because it looked amazing!

Overpriced, terrible coffee, terrible service. Try the other cafes in Carindale, This one is definitely the worst. Last time I went there I had the incredibly overpriced ribbon sandwiches that was the smallest serving and tasteless, with burnt coffee and terrible service. Wouldn't return again. Not to mention the table and chairs blocking all of the walkway in Carindale, so unnessary and incredibly annoying as a customer at Carindale and eating at the restaurant with people knocking you walking past. What a terrible way to set out the restaurant, Its embarrassing whoever decided to do that, everyone always complains about it.

I've been to gallery one with a friend of mine, so I thought I'd take a late lunch. the young male waiter has attracted me in the future. only when I sat down, I could see why....Basech, instead of doing the work he was paid (to wait on tables) he was more interested in flirting with two tables young girls. the father and the young girl and I were ignored. two mothers with prams were ignored all services and both stayed when the young waiter totally ignored them, chatting with the young girls laughing. one of the kitchen staff came out to help us with our orders. food drink both were delicious mushroom risotto and a cocktail. cafe itself the benches along the wall are not comfortable. the benches are too high from the floor the benches are too close to the table where I found the free steh seats and tables more comfortable to sit.

Like all carindale shopping centers has a dining room with all standard charities, their food chains with fast simple meals in a standard clinic atmosphere. if they are looking for something that is a bit more of a culinary experience, but...where they can meet with family or friends, then I recommend gallery one as a good option. initially it is like a restaurant and not a fast food item set up so that they get the full waiter experience, a menu with something for all and tables that allow them to chat friends instead of grabbing eat and go art of experience. the menu is extensive with many vegetarian and gluten-free options and service is fast and friendly. eating is hot, inexpensive and will satisfy most hungry buyers. there is an Italian lean on the menu, but there are all good old favorites that they could describe as caffe or pub style dug and while the menu is quite easy, they supplement enough of a sparkling and taste to their dine to make them interesting. I'm sure you'll hit me a maccas or a greasy takeaway, and I'll always go for a bite when I'm in the carindale shopping center.
