While many revel in exceptional dishes such as seafood mac and cheese and salmon, a few patrons have voiced concerns over service and food quality. Some have encountered issues like over-salted soup and undercooked breakfasts, compounded by inconsistent staff responsiveness. However, the atmosphere remains inviting for family gatherings, with commendations for smooth service during larger events. Diners appreciate the warm and cheerful service, making it a recommended spot for those traveling through the area, despite some improvements needed in food preparation and staff training.
The restaurant was lovely, but I was dining with a friend who had a stroke last year. Unfortunately, he ordered a soup that was extremely salty. When we informed the waitress, she apologized and removed the soup from the table, but the item was not taken off the bill. I believe they should have offered some form of compensation for the inconvenience.
I made a reservation to gather with family from out of town for lunch on Sunday. The restaurant was fantastic, the food was delicious, and everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great spot to host a meal for a group of 5-10 people. I have a feeling their larger event spaces are also excellent!
My wife and i are traveling through we stayed the night in the Caribou Inn and had a lovely dinner here. The seafood Mac and cheese is to die for and the seafood stuffed haddock was a top choice.
Great food! Slow server.. thinks it's too busy with only a few tables filled..
I can only remember a few places where the food is as delicious as the service is warm and cheerful. This restaurant is one of those exceptional places. I ordered the Salmon Rose, garlic mashed potatoes, Caesar side salad, and sweet tea. The meal was absolutely delicious and very satisfying. Check out the photos I uploaded for a visual feast!
