I was the general manager at this restaurant and enjoyed my job, but unfortunately had to leave. I will miss the friends I made during my time there. I wish Paul Jr. and Andre all the best in making the restaurant successful. I am now considering opening my own place soon, as I learned a lot from working there. View all feedback.
I visited this restaurant on 6/1 and I have never had better Cajun food in my life. I ordered the crawfish dinner and indulged like a glutton. My friend ordered shrimp and crab etouffee, and my daughter had a regular cheeseburger; we were all satisfied with our meals. While we were there, we enjoyed watching a first communion parade at the nearby church, which was adorable. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was perfect. When we arrived, Wayne Toups was performing "New Orleans Ladies," which is my husband's and my favorite song, so I knew we were in for a treat. Despite the crowded tables, our young waitress (who had cool white hair) managed to keep our drinks full and provided excellent service. I regret not getting her name so I could commend her on her exceptional service. I visit the Lafayette area twice a year, and I will definitely be back to this restaurant on all my future trips.
