Last night was our first time dining here and we did the chef’s tasting menu… every course was amazing and inventive. The local Guinea hen was such a surprise, and was prepared so inventively. Our favorite of the evening was a tossup between wagyu beef cheek appetizer and the pumpkin cheesecake dessert. They also brilliantly paired the meal with wines throughout the course. Had the chance to check out this new spot recently. While I love the old Cafe it is great to see the energy of new owners and a new concept! Stopped in for lunch and my bride and I shared the arugula salad, heirloom tomatoes, prime rib sandwich, chicken sandwich, and the creme brûlée. Everything was superb! By itself the chicken sandwich is worth the drive from Scottsdale and the other dishes were fresh, well balanced and executed beautifully. You can always tell the difference when a chef insists on local ingredients rather than Sysco slop and that was the case across every dish. I cannot wait to try Confluence for dinner and work my way through the rest of the menu!
Outstanding; top caliber ingredients and careful preparation. The Spotted Skate and Iberico Pluma were incredible. This place deserves to be hugely successful.

Everyone was so friendly and welcoming too! We will definitely be back, especially since the menu changes with the seasons and with with whatever gem ingredients the chef sources.
I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. This husband and wife team are amazing. Absolutely amazing food. Lovely restaurant. If I lived closer I'd be there every week even if it was just a small bite and some of the great selection of wine. She made us some of the best Old Fashions we've had. Please support this gem.
Absolutely the best food in the area. If you want a truly delicious food experience, this is the place. There are many places in Cave Creek and Carefree with breaded, fried food. Which is fine, but nothing like Confluence. Victoria and Brandon are truly talented and provide the best experience. Great food and people. Don’t pass it up
