The boats had just come in so there was plenty of fresh seafood for sale. We had the best snapper I have ever tasted and the prices were really reasonable. Highly recommended View all feedback.

We dropped in for a quick feed on our way to Townsville at 7 pm Friday. That Fella behind the counter (presume an owner) was very keen and helpful. We had a couple F&C special which was fine, not spectacular but what we expected from a roadside diner. Stop in not five star but good stars especially that fella in the baseball cap thanks.
We ate here on recommendation from our motel owner Steve two weeks ago. We weren't disappointed and returned last night when we visited Cardwell again with friends. Service not the fastest but that is because the food is freshly cooked to order. Amazing seafood basket & our friend had the buffalo wings - all spot on. The diner is spotlessly clean & such friendly staff who are eager to please. As a side note they served the best pot of tea (leaf tea at that) that I've had in my regular trips to Australia from the UK. We will be back!
Hearing about the crab sandwich.... I just had to go.... and I was not disappointed..... Fresh bread... fresh crab.... salt and pepper, this is what a dream is made of. To top it off great service and fresh coffee and juices!!! Totally recommend.
My wife and I stopped for lunch at this terrific little diner on our way to Townsville. Lunch was great; my wife had the fish and chips, while I had buffalo wings plus pizza. Wings arrived promptly, but the rest of the meal took some time arriving. Kaylea, the owner, was fun and friendly, and overall it was a great stop (except for the food delay!).
