What Norman Block doesn't like about ZERODEGREES Cardiff:
I booked this restaurant from the trip advisor feedback. When we arrived the restaurant was almost empty. As it is set in a brewery it needed to be buzzing for an atmosphere. Sadly a lot of the dishes were not on....all the mussels in buckets which made up a big percentage of the menu. We all ended up having pizzas, made to order and delicious. The service was brilliant. The staff at this restaurant is extremely friendly, the location is convenient, and the prices are reasonable. The quality of the food is superb, and I have visited many Italian restaurants and spent a lot of time there myself. I will definitely be returning and will take an Uber so I can try all the beers.

The staff were very nice, however, they did not have any mussels which was the main reason we chose to dine there. Since we were not in the mood for pizza or pasta, we had to go to another restaurant instead.

Great beers, starters and pizzas with wider variety of toppings than usual. super crispy bases. We were unlucky in that there were two big parties so our order was slower than expected but staff apologised and we were happy to enjoy the craft beers on offer. Great building

I would say to my friends it was ok. The gentleman that treated us (sorry didn’t catch his name as moved so fast! Maybe duty manager? wasn’t very welcoming, took us upstairs quickly! , threw menus on table and walked off! Not a welcome I particularly liked. Took three requests for water on the table. Rest of staff friendly enough. Won’t be rushing back.
