What John P doesn't like about The Mount Stuart Jd Wetherspoon:
All day breakfast that should come with two eggs came with none. Server walked off without trying to justify or explain this. When called back about it I just got told they didn't have any and they'd put an extra sausage on instead. Who wants a breakfast without eggs? Wpuld have chosen something else if they'd had the courtesy to tell me in advance. Also ordered a pepperoni pizza which was soggy and floppy with littl... View all feedback.
I waited less than a minute to be served, and the gentleman working there quickly approached me to take my order. This kind of prompt service is hard to find in Belfast. The pub is a hidden gem in Cardiff Bay and is a must-visit for any tourist. The food and drinks were delightful, and the staff were very friendly. Without a doubt, it's the best JDW we've been to as a couple.

It was an incredibly busy Bank Holiday Monday, but we managed to find seating for our group of nine. The ordering process was well organized, and the service was commendable given the large number of customers they were handling. The tables were promptly cleared and cleaned. My only criticism is that there were no vegetables offered for the kids' burgers and chips. The adults enjoyed garden peas with their fish and chips, and it would have been nice for the kids to have some vegetables too!
Now here's a Wetherspoons that is where the staff are super attentive and go about their job like precision ninjas! Brilliant! Okay, dropped in for a couple of drinks and a snack. Ordered, BANG! Drinks on the table followed shortly by the food, excellent! Yeah, yeah it wasn't overly busy but my recent visit in Bristol's The Berkeley was as busy and frankly it was rubbish! Thanks guys for a pleasurable afternoon.
This was a great location. It was sunny and the balcony was ideal. The downside was that we didn't get our food for 2hrs and it was a poor serving.
