We had a delicious supper at Snails last night. We had a smoked salmon sharing platter as a starter. The salmon was from Llys Meddyg Pembs. Then for the main course I had a pizza with wild boar salami and smoked Mozzarella, yum!!Service and atmosphere excellent. We'll be back soon View all feedback.
What ted87 dislikes about Snails:
we called here today and ordered two americanos, both tasted bitter and could not drink them. It tasted so bitter that it could have been cheap instant coffee. Shall not be returning, so be advised? View all feedback.

Popped into this place last week and the atmosphere is brilliant. All the staff are lovely and everything you order is of a high standard. Will definitely be visiting this brilliant local independent establishment more often. Keep an eye out for their evening and afternoon events at this venue there’s a lot going on at snails. Snails deli is part of the heart of Rhiwbina. It’s a lovely place, a shop selling excellent home made bread and delicious cakes and pastries, a takeaway for amazing pizza (the beetroot and feta one I had last night was superb), a cosy cafe and an intimate homely restaurant. In addition Snails are supportive of the local Community and other traders and regularly organise presentations and events such as parties and wedding breakfasts. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We hired Snails for my mums 70th birthday party and Fran the team did such a good job of making this a special occasion. Snails were reasonably priced when other venues we contacted were super expensive, all we had to pay for was a buffet for 25 people. The buffet was good, the staff on hand at the party were super friendly and helpful, I would definitely recommend Snails for a private function. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This restaurant consistently serves delicious food in a welcoming atmosphere. They offer a variety of options for brunch, including options for vegetarians and vegans. Their salads and quiches are also wonderful choices for lunch.
We have reserved Snails Deli a few times for family gatherings, but recently we have taken advantage of their special deals in partnership with Rhiwbina Tap. We have ordered pizzas and other snacks while enjoying some beer at the tap house nearby. The food comes out quickly and we can enjoy the best of both worlds.
It had been a while since I last dined at Snails and I was disappointed to find that the quality of the food had declined despite the higher prices. The salad that came with my meal consisted of a handful of leaves from a supermarket bag, lukewarm potato wedges, tasteless broccoli, and Glamorgan sausages. I paid £12.50 for a meal that was unappetizing. I raised my concerns to the staff but did not receive a refund. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
Bored of Starbucks wraps and Supermarket meal deals, I always look for somewhere local that will do a decent meal. For a couple of quid more than your standard floppy sandwich, I got a box full of salad and a large slice of quiche, which was very tasty and kept me going well into the evening. So impressed was I that I returned the next day and had their burger, which again did not disappoint. The place seems to be a real hub of the community and the vibe was excellent. Service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. I’ve already recommended it to a few local contacts. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area, for sure!
We had a great evening celebrating my Dad’s 80th birthday. Everyone enjoyed the most amazing ‘grazing’ buffet (delicious meats, cheeses, salads, coleslaw, samosas etc). Nicky was so helpful in the run up to the event, whilst Fran and team ensured it all ran smoothly on the night. A top venue for a cozy, intimate celebration of any kind. Would 100% recommend. Thanks Team Snails

What a wonderful place to eat! First time going there and definitely won't be my last. The food, staff and atmosphere is superb!
Family run coffee and delicatessen. Great food and music events make this place very unique and characterful.
The food is always gorgeous. Great company. Relaxed atmosphere. And you can buy a packet of pasta and a jar of really nice tomato sauce if after...
