Four small BAKED potatoes, officially roast but they hadn't seen any oil. Lamb was good and gravy but the rest was boring and just adequate. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Whilst ordering our drinks we were... read more Planning on having multiple drinks and a catch up with friends today, we made the terrible decision to venture into Salt Bar. Whilst ordering our drinks we were met with a rude, ignorant and impolite bartender who quite frankly I would describe as a considerable hinderance to the business. Having worked behind a bar for over 10 years I would consider myself extremely lenient towards fellow hospitality employees, however I feel this is an incident that I was shocked by and could not let slide. After making my beverage incorrectly, I asked politely to receive the drink that I ordered; I was met with a disgustingly sharp response, that I had ordered it incorrectly and that I was in the wrong. Now having made this drink multiple times in my career, I don’t think it’s out of order to tell you that I did not order the drink incorrectly, your bartender/manager or whatever she was, was simply uniformed and undereducated. Either way, if she cannot not make a simple spirit and mixer correctly she probably shouldn’t be on the bar to begin with. Adding insult to injury, after reluctantly agreeing to make the beverage that I had originally requested, I was made to wait a prolonged period whilst she served everybody else that was waiting at the bar. I predict it probably would have taken approximately 10 seconds to dispense my drink from the optic and serve it, but clearly the unhappy customer (that by the way, still approached the situation politely) was last on her priority list. Your roof deck was lovely, and we would have stayed, but the disgusting manner of your staff has put a sour taste in my mouth one that I would like to avoid in future.
