They were able to seat us as walk ins and served us rather quickly. The gluten free pizza tasted like a regular pizza and not like a cardboard box. The pasta was rather good as well. View all feedback.
What Morgan And Kyrsten J doesn't like about PizzaExpress:
We wanted something quick and easy, and pizza express sounded like the best bet. It was surprisingly pricey, with most pizzas being between £12-15. The service was also pretty slow considering it has express in the name. The dough balls were good, as was the beef rigatoni. The biggest qualm is with the pizza itself. The American Hot was not hot or spicy, despite getting all three peppers on it. It was listed as thin... View all feedback.
Okay...... I 'm going to admit something very serious.... and I 'm going to humbly request to my fellow Yelp foodies to not show up as an angry pitchfork wielding mob to my house! I don 't like pizza. Okay, there, I said it. I certainly don 't MIND pizza it 's not disgusting to me, but I most definitely don 't care for it! Pizza can disappear from my life forever and I wouldn 't bat an eyelash! Well, Pizza Express certainly changed my mind. Now I realised that I 've just rarely ever had GOOD pizza before. Pizza Express is fantastic! Calamari I 'm a huge fan of calamari and Pizza Express makes them fantastic! The batter is lovely and crisp and the tartare sauce they serve with it works really well. Every time I visit Pizza Express I always make sure to order a set of these! Padana In terms of pizza, I 'm a huge fan of the Padana. Although it 's a vegetarian pizza and I 'm normally a meat eater, the tastes in the Padana pizza are just way too satisfying and refined. The light and thin crust is topped with goat 's cheese, mozzarella, tomato, amaazzzinnng caramelised onion, red onion, and finished with garlic oil. Seriously, I would probably order it for the caramelised onion on its own. Trust me it 's worth skipping out on the meat options for. Even if you 're a carnivore like me! When it comes to high quality pizza, Pizza Express doesn 't disappoint. If I 'm going to be nitpicky, the only negative side is that for some reason, they 're really bad at cutting the pizza (the crusts ALWAYS come glued together that I always find myself ripping non pizza shaped bits off). Regardless, 5 stars for the flavour above everything else. If Pizza Express can make someone who is 'meh ' about pizza have a very happy meal, then it 's good enough for you!

The American Hot was not hot or spicy, despite getting all three peppers on it. It was listed as thin crust, but this crust was literally see through on most pieces. The dough seems to have been stretched so thin, so you 're getting very little out of each bite. 'Twas a bummer.

Not that I'm cheap, but there has been a recession and all that don't you know... Pizza Express offer a 2 for 1 special on wednesdays through Orange. Just print off a voucher from the website and voila Pizza for cheaper (say it, it rolls of the tongue nicely). With the Odeon just behind it at the Red Dragon centre, you can have nice little night out with the loved one for about £20 The Bay's view is beautiful, It's situated right by the corner of the bay and oversee's the Millennium centre, National assembly and the water. The decor inside is very modern and gives the place a real expensive feel as the brooding black marble and dark wood decorates the restaurant through out. Food-wise you can't really go wrong here, thinner bases and fresh ingredients make all the difference in fine dining. Calabrese is new to the menu and my current fave there to recommend to you. Be careful though, it's hotter than a game of Twister with the cast from Hollyoaks!
This is my all time favourite Pizza Express. Its got everything, the views are great, the atmosphere is perfect and the service is always top class. Its always busy so we often have to wait, especially on Wednesday when it's hard to resist the Orange 2 for 1 deal. But also there are usually other deals too if you go to their web page. There's nothing better that good food, except for cheaper good food. They seem to expect the busyness so they have a little seated area to wait which is nice. My prepared pizza is a Padano with chicken and they do it so well here that I never get bored of it. I wish Pizza wasn't so full of fat because I would eat here all the time. I've never had a salad, but even they look great! And the wine is really good too.
