Had some time before my train to kill, so tried peppermint bar and restaurant. friendly helpful staff. good atmosphere. will definitely return.

Lovely establishment , Staff were very attentive and super helpful. They were very sure to be careful of our party's allergies. We really appreciate the service we received.
We were asked to pay before we had recieved any food or drinks. When the food arrived, two pizzas we ordered were burnt and hard. No apologies about the overcooked food. The rest of our groups meals were nice enough. The staff were friendly but seemed very new and unsure about the menu. We had to remind them about our order and missing drinks a couple of times. We were sat on a table with a drain below us and it had a strong smell. Happy hour options and prices unclear. The place itself looks nice and is well decorated.
