Although I didn’t catch the name of our waitress, she had a sleek blonde ponytail and was incredibly attentive, providing excellent recommendations. We started with the beef croquettes, which we had anticipated would be delicious since they are our favorite from Pasture. We also tried the leek croquettes, and they exceeded our expectations! The flatbread was tasty, but we found the aubergine dip a bit too sweet for our taste. The carrot dish was quite unique in its preparation and had a hearty texture, though I’m not sure it lived up to the hype as the best item on the menu. The scallops were good, but I think I would choose a different fish option next time. The beef was cooked perfectly, but it could have benefited from a sauce. The wine we chose was delightful, and I enjoyed a dill and lemongrass margarita that was light and refreshing. To cap off the evening, we visited the speakeasy bar next door for a drink, which was a lovely way to end our night. We enjoyed our time at the bar, having the entire place to ourselves for a bit, which allowed us to benefit from the chef's insights on each dish and created a wonderful atmosphere. Each p... read more This is definitely one of my favorite spots in Cardiff. During our recent visit, we tried the festive set menu, and every dish exceeded our expectations. Each plate was thoughtfully crafted and absolutely delicious—who knew a carrot could taste that amazing? The service was excellent, and I adore the ambiance as well. I highly recommend paying a visit here.
