What a fabulous place. Really warm welcome, great vibe. The food was lush, great burgers and sides. The fries were particularly amazing! Such friendly staff. And they serve brilliant Welsh wine; what's not to love? Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We went here as a family of 4 as a Saturday lunch time treat, it didn't disappoint. My youngest had the happier meal and chose the cheeseburger which came with fries, juice and a tiptop for afters. The rest of us went for the soprano, mother clucker and shaolin style and shared fries, all were really tasty. All of the burgers on the menu looked really appealing so we'll be back to try some of the others. The staff there were great and although my teenager had an adult meal she was given a tiptop as well which was really kind. Would highly recommend Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Abit over hyped and not enough oomph if you ask me. By far the MOST blandest burger I have eaten. Very stingy with the sauce (literally a drop) and barely any lettuce. The pictures just do not match up to the burger itself. Definitely smaller than any other burgers out there and the brioche bun tastes like a tesco brand. I was hoping for more of a real bur experience and disappointed I didn't get that. Not surprised why five guys still do so well.
I recently went to pick up food from this restaurant. Despite being the only person there, I received a friendly welcome. While waiting for my order, I indulged in a well-made old fashioned cocktail. The staff made sure to finalize my meal only when I was ready to eat, keeping it fresh and warm. However, I was disappointed to find that the burger patty was quite solid and the bread was unsatisfactory, tasting like a mass-produced brioche from a supermarket. The toppings were decent, but overall, the meal did not meet my expectations for the price. I have had better experiences at a restaurant near my home in Coventry, which offers excellent quality at a similar price point.
