Was PebbleL at Espresso Lab a mag?
I really liked the quirky décor in here, especially the wall containing pictures of the Bay. The teas and cake we had were also good, especially the Nutella cookies. We visited on a snowy day and were told the place would be closing in 20 mins, which was fair enough, but we did get a vibe that we were a bit of a nuisance and this did spoil the experience a little. What Naomi C dislikes about Espresso Lab:
Well I can’t say the ladies server were rude... but more the service was non existent. No please, thank you, hello etc. The sandwich I ordered looks like it was made by a bear. The 2 stars is for the coffee which was delicious!

This charming café serves a variety of hot and cold drinks, food items, cakes, and snacks. While the prices may be slightly higher, the experience is definitely worth it. Situated in a fantastic location, especially convenient for those working nearby. Highly recommended!

Very friendly place with good strong coffee and agreeable banana cake. We went there because it was mentioned in a guidebook about Cardiff written by Peter Finch and his photographer, John. You can see some of John's photographs in the collage on the back wall of the cafe! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
