I recently tried the Christmas Nuts Roast at this restaurant, and it was a rare and unique dish for vegetarians and vegans. The fish and chips are also delicious and don't have a strong fishy smell. The desserts, served with ice cream on the side, are also quite enjoyable. While the prices are a bit high, this may be due to the Christmas Day holiday on December 25th, 2020. What User doesn't like about Cardiff Panthers Bistro:
Polite and friendly service. Given a buzzer and barely got back to table before it went off. We ordered cheese and bacon bread(2/10), terrible. Also flathead fillets(3/10) and crumbed veal(5/10). Super quick service. Very reasonable price. Nice and clean BUT food quality very average at best. View all feedback.

After a day of driving to on the highway we checked into our accommodation and asked about food options. The wests bistro was one of their suggestions and close to our lodgings. A short walk down the road.First comment, currently under renovations and from the direction we approached hard to find an entrance - even with the tips from the hotel.Only one dinning area available at the time we visited. Which was the bistro. Menu selection seemed standard club bistro fare at relatively reasonable prices. Our dishes came out together - which was a good sign. Yet when approached about a mixup with a serving of veggies instead of chips and salad. The server simply slid the vegetables into the bin off the plate and placed a tong full of chips in their place. Which is fine, I suppose that could be industry practice?? But did I need to see that being done in front of me and with such lack of comment or enthusiasm about repairing the error - beside the veggies diving into the bin?Anyhow, plate size and meals for the remainder of the family seemed to go well. Food ok not fantastic.Perhaps after the renovations the standards will improve.
Well as bistros go, it was new, fresh looking so thought we'd give it a go.Upon reflection I think we could have done better, we were disappointed .Staff were friendly and helpful but food was tasteless and salad was old, dehydrated and not appealing at all. They were busy but I don't know why, maybe the price but def not the tasteEnvironment was new, fresh and inviting but that's where it ends.
We went back to cardiff workers after a few years away. While tne club itself has been refurbished the so called bistro was very poor. The only food choice was a roast dinner with sub standard vegetables on display. We could not justify $17 dollars for one of these meals so left and ate elsewbere. A club of this size should have a decent bistro with a variety of choices.
Another Pokies haven If you like cheap food, and quality isn't an issue, cheap beer and lots of Pokies, you'll enjoy. The buffet looks disgusting, the menu is ordinary and everything is nearly deep fried, baked or twice cooked. Respect yourself, don't do it
