Good friendly service, couldn't ask for more. Worth a try especially if you want a change, €6.50 for kebab fries and drink, bargain!
This is our favourite kebab restaurant in Carcassonne. Excellent value for money you can choose between a traditional kebab with fries for €6 euros or a plate which include meat, pitta, salad and fries for €8 euros. The quality of meat is excellent, especially the chicken tikka, and you leave feeling very full and satisfied. We always feel welcome and if you sit outside you can watch the world go round the Bastide. Great if you are in the mood for fast food of quality!
Good kebabs and some moroccan fast food. Appears to be a family run place, with good local following.Food is fresh, no stale kebab meat, grilled to perfection. Kids loved it, and it was nice to find a local halal restaurant, which was accessible.Short walk from Place Gambetta, parking near by.If you want quick and tasty fast food, for under 5 Euros, this is a good option!
Recently revamped it looks like any fast food outlet. No ambiance. BUT the food is excellent and cooked fresh daily, the cost is definetly on the low side (€4.50 for a kebab + all trimmings). Just off the Place Gambetta you can watch traffic go by, or each Saturday eat in the heart of a HUGE street market. Service is quick, young waiter speaks English. If you do not want fancy cuisine, but you like autherntic at low prices, try it.
One of the best kebabs you will find in Carcassonne, comes with a choice of sauces and you can add french fries plus a coke for only 6euros 50.
