A great bar on Main Street that serves food. They have cut back there menu due to Covid and staffing. We had Nacho's and Chips and Salsa. Portions are large and we could not finish both. Looking forward to going back again. View all feedback.
What Alec Flowerday doesn't like about Pour House:
Sat to have a drink with in-laws that we’re visiting. We were given attitude immediately by the older waitress when we told her we only here for drinks. I was under the impression that this place was a bar. She was very rude to us the entire time we were here. We are locals, have been here before and it’s really gone down hill which is sad. The Pourhouse was the last restaurant to reopen after the pandemic, while many others in the area had already resumed operations or unfortunately closed for good. The menu has scaled down from a lengthy six-page selection that had been in place for over 30 years to a simpler one-page offering now. The Pourhouse features a full bar, and the friendly bartenders and waitstaff are much adored by customers. The restaurant operates from 4 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Saturday, and is closed on Sundays. Reservations are not required, but be aware that it can get quite busy on the first Friday of the month and after local rodeos. I know this firsthand, as I worked there for 25 years before the pandemic began.
Not sure if they are open anymore. Everytime we go by it's closed and a sign out front says closed due to covid was a bummer for my wife and I as we were looking forward to have dinner there tonight.
The Guinness Stout on tap is fantastic, imported directly from Dublin, Ireland. The pork stew and French onion soup are both delicious. The bar has a great atmosphere as well.
This is a fantastic bar located on Main Street that also serves food. They've reduced their menu due to Covid and staffing challenges. We tried the nachos along with chips and salsa; the portions were generous, and we couldn't finish either dish. We're excited to return soon!
