I got a burger from there yesterday and it was the second best burger I?ve EVER had. It had a nice pink to it and it was phenomenal?. The only place that?s had a better burger is Kuma Corner (Chicago area) which is about $19 a burger not includingsides?. So for Chillis to be almost as good as that says a lot! Food was still pretty good but we just got appetizers. Our server was nice but the rest of the staff is clueless. Seriously. One brought the food out and just ignored me as I asked for silverware... the next one we hailed down brought us plastic....they just didn't have any more??? Went to lunch with friends and we arrived right as the doors opened. The staff was faced with at least 20 people right when they opened. There was an understandable wait. But our server was very polite and then brought us some fresh hot nicely saltedtortilla chips and salsa. Delicious! We each ordered something different I will share our photos below. Full beef nachos,chicken quesadillas explosion, and a burger and fries. Our meals together cost around $50 including taxes. We all had doggybags!
I received takeout. First, I don 't understand why I was asked to tip when I was picking up the food. All she did was bring it out to the car after ordering it online. The chicken sandwich was good, but the appetizers were not good at all. I ordered theplatter with the two burgers and a couple of other things. Whatever that was wrapped in the tin foil. I threw away after onebite. Maybe if using pictures, clarify that takeout will look different as in tossed into a container with a note that says, no plate . Thanks.
I don't want to be too harsh, but I can't help but wonder where the supervisor was during all of this. I also noticed the bartender and the hostess complaining about another employee, which raises some concerns. It seems management could use some improvement or oversight. Corporate should really take note of this situation!
Our server was quite friendly, and I ordered a sirloin steak. It was cooked perfectly to my liking, which is medium. I also had corn on the cob and fries. While the fries were a bit stale and almost rock-hard, the rest of the food was fresh and delicious.
