I have visited this restaurant several times, and my experiences have become increasingly disappointing. It was fantastic when it first opened, but tonight was especially subpar. The food was lacking in flavor, with the pumice being limp and undercooked, and the fish had bones in it and was also undercooked. Even with only four customers in the restaurant, we waited an hour for our meals. On a positive note, I ordered a Mittelburger, which was well-prepared and at least edible. However, I would have appreciated more than just three options on the menu, especially since the reason given for the limited choices was a switch to a spoon. I’m also confused as to why the ribeye is still absent from the menu. For a restaurant to thrive, it must serve good food, and it seems this one is heading toward having empty tables in the future.

I'm not sure what went wrong on Saturday night, but waiting an hour and a half for our food was unacceptable. To top it off, our orders were incorrect, and my steak was served cold. The portion of fish I received was smaller than a deck of cards, and I heard two different explanations for that. My husband's steak, while looking amazing, was also cold and tough. The Texas Toast was just plain, dry white bread with no butter. We only received one drink refill during our nearly two-hour visit. As someone who has worked as both a waitress and a cook, I would have been embarrassed by the quality of the food and the lengthy wait time. This is definitely a place I won't be returning to.
