I went with my wife. The food was good. Starter, main course and dessert (we also had wine and drinks). That day the service was impeccable. Even the owner came to greet us. An advantage of the establishment is that we are free from insects. Caraíva suffers from many flies and mosquitoes. It really bothers you. As Odara has a large internal space with air conditioning, this problem did not affect us at dinner. In short, I would go back. It's not cheap at all, but we left very happy that night.
This is an outstanding small restaurant totally didn’t expect to find this jewel in Caraiva! Amazing service (also in English), outstanding, tasteful and locally twisted modern cuisine and accompanying bar. (As usual in Brazil, the wine selection is not comprehensive). The presentation of dishes is second to none I have seen in Bahia see below the Tuna Tartar! Fair price level for the quality provided. We will come back again! Price per person: R$140–160
Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience. Despite the great service and beautiful atmosphere, my dish wasn't the best. I ordered the “fish of the day” (bull's eye) which comes in a herb crust and it was very good. The side dishes, however, are bland simple vegetables, tiny yogurt. For the price above the Caraíva average, it wasn't worth it. Additionally, I ordered a cachaça drink with biri biri pickles and cucumber. Too bad, it felt like I was drinking cucumber water full of salt. A shame, because I had high expectations for this dinner.
We ate the Octopus, the Termite and the Basque Pie. Everything impeccable! Very tasty, great service and the restaurant is beautiful. It's very worth it. Price per person: R$160–180 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
