Was Anonym at Roux Dat Cajun Creole a mag?
This is a fantastic spot to experience authentic Creole cuisine. Luckily, they offered the Gator PoBoy, which I had never tried before; the gator meat was surprisingly similar to chicken in taste. The kids enjoyed tenderloins, while the woman ordered the chicken creole, which was both delicious and hearty. The PoBoy was accompanied by a tasty vegan jambalaya as well. What Anonym dislikes about Roux Dat Cajun Creole:
We got there right before closing and we?re told we had to take our food to go. The food was good, we had the jambalaya and the chicken mushroom creole and beignets. I?d personally skip the beignets, but my dad liked them. View all feedback.

What a wonderful cozy spot for some Cajun cuisine! The red beans and rice, catfish, and gumbo were all delicious. I must mention the cornbread too—absolutely delightful! All the dishes are classic and made fresh. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant itself was impressively clean.

Small portion, should order large. Good introduction for creole foods but it's too salty for my taste.

What a treat! The owner made me a Crescent City Po Boy (half shrimp, half oysters) and a side of Maque Choux. My buddy got the Jambalaya. Gambini's bread, generous portions, jazz playing, they even have pralines!

Great place to get a taste of creole food..luckily they had the Gator PoBoy. I have never tried gator meat and it tasted close to chicken. Kids had tenders and wife had the chicken creole which was yummy and filling. The PoBoy came with a vegan jambalayawhich was good too. Overall would recommend even if you want to grab Cajun fries...!!
