The experience was made even more enjoyable by the presence of two friendly dogs who joined us on the tasting and guided tours around the property. After the tasting, we were taken on a walk to explore the farm and learn more interesting facts about the different fruit trees. The portions of fruit provided were generous, so make sure to visit on an empty stomach. Reservations are recommended to ensure availability, and we are already planning our return visit, this time taking advantage of the accommodation options offered.

The fruits we got to taste were absolutely amazing! As a fruit lover, I was thrilled to try new exotic fruits that I had never tasted before. We visited in June (winter), so there weren't many fruits in season to see on the trees, but it was still a fantastic experience.
During our visit to Far North Queensland, we had tasting locally grown tropical fruits at the top of our list. The local map of the Daintree National Park only mentioned fruit tasting without any additional information, but it turned out to be so much more than we expected. The farm grows over 70 different types of fruit, and we got to taste the ripe fruits of the season. Some of the must-try fruits included Abiu, bread fruit, canistel, Chempedak, Fijian longan, mamey sapote, mangosteen, rollinia, santol, sapodilla, soursop, and yellow mangosteen. The tasting experience was a mix of super sweet and acidic fruits, which was both fun and enjoyable. After the tasting, we were taken on a walk around the property to see the trees and learn more interesting facts. The two dogs, who were introduced as part of the family, added to the overall experience. Make sure to go hungry as they are very generous with the portions of fruit offered. It's recommended to book in advance to ensure you don't miss out on this unique experience. I will definitely be returning, and next time I plan on staying at their accommodation.

My experience at the tropical fruit tasting tour was enjoyable. The setting under a pergola was nice, and tasting exotic fruits while learning about the farm and region was very interesting. The fruits we tasted were delicious, and I particularly enjoyed trying fruits I had never had before. Despite visiting in June during winter, when there wasn't much fruit in season, I still had a great time on the tour.
