Take out beautifully presented , boxed in rows with central jar of tamari , plus ginger and wasabi all generous portions. The plushi is absolutely delicious. A visit to the restaurant is a great experience , set in really interesting old building in Woodstock . The plushi is just delicious accompanied by cool music played on vinyl. Highly recommend! #Veganuary Updated from previous review on 2024 01 26
The most interesting food I had in Cape Town, in a good way. Well-chosen taste combinations, not predictable and not boring. Worth the trip. Updated from previous review on 2022-03-31
After experiencing flight delays and minimal sleep, we arrived in Cape Town famished, only to stumble upon this hidden gem of a restaurant just a short distance away. Opting for the platter of the week, we were pleasantly surprised by its beauty and deliciousness. An added bonus was the restaurant’s commitment to being waste-free and plastic-free. This was hands down the best vegan sushi we've ever had.
This charming restaurant offers both indoor seating and take-out options. We highly recommend trying the assorted box, as it allows you to enjoy a variety of their offerings. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. The take-out packaging is minimal waste, making it an eco-friendly choice. Just be aware that it is technically zero waste only if you are not staying in a hotel.
This place is fully vegan. I went with 3 other friends. We first had spring rolls they have a bunch of different options. Then we had the sushi platter which was perfect for 4 people as each type of sushi was offered in batches of 4, so we all got to try each one. We also added the smoked carrot 'salmon ' with vegan caviar. Have to say, the platter came out, and it was a work of art. They made the platter look so beautiful, and the food was equally delicious. This restaurant is very simple looking, as it 's more into take out, than sit in. However, the food more than made up for it. I absolutely loved the food.
