This place has an authentic, relaxed country pub atmosphere. The service is outstanding, the food is delicious, and it's a great value for money. They offer an impressive selection of German and local beers, along with some decent wine choices. I will definitely return! View all feedback.
Was lovely. Sat at the indoor fireplace. Family had Eisbein and I had a schnitzel. Waiter was sweet, and food didn't take that long. Give 45 min for Eisbein. It's made from scratch and worth the wait. The only advice, or suggestion, thicker piece of schnitzel, and give option for cheese sauce.<br/ <br/ Loved the decor and atmosphere. Rustic but reminds me of home
The vibe is absolutely amazing .the food took hella long but it was comforting because the food was fresh and perfectly crispy (pork belly . the food taste great and the prices are decent.roughly R300 for two people. the actual service staff were on the slow side so prepare to wait for your drinks. but it really is a good restaurant and i would gladly go again !
If you love German cuisine or just want to enjoy a hearty meal and have a good time with friends, then Im Eimer is a place you’ve got to try. <br/ <br/ They are known for their Eisbein and rightly so. It is absolutely delicious and far too much food to enjoy in one sitting. The crackling is crispy and the meat falls off the bone. It’s perfectly seasoned and the accompaniments like Sauerkraut and mash are delicious.<br/ Do pre-order it to avoid a long waiting period and/or disappointment – they only prepare a few every day. <br/ <br/ The place has a real rustic Joe’s Beerhouse type of vibe to it and it has a certain charm. Can’t wait to go back; just thinking of that Eisbein makes me hungry…
