I really enjoyed the tapas at this restaurant. They have a great selection, with specific options listed on the chalkboards. We ordered nine dishes, including two from the Spoon menu, and everything was extremely flavorful! I particularly loved the shrimp, calamari, and mushroom risotto cakes—so tasty and delicious. The service could have been a bit more attentive, but overall it was decent. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good food.

We've passed by this restaurant numerous times and finally got the chance to try it. The staff were incredibly friendly. Initially, we thought the prices for the pinchos were a bit high, but the flavors delivered made it worth it. The fried goat cheese pinchos were absolutely amazing—each bite was a delight! We enjoyed all the other dishes we ordered as well. Two of us shared four dishes and felt completely satisfied. Our meal included four tapas dishes, two glasses of wine, a bottle of water, and the tip, which totaled R500. We will definitely be returning for more!

Very good experience with this place. I had dinner and it was fantastic in all aspects of service, ambience and food. Good quality of tapas and good knowledge of waiting staff. The price is at the top but worth the money. I went on Monday night at 6:00 and it was pretty quiet. I recommend an attempt.

Great tapas with a strong concept: food eaten with a fork, usually in 4 bites. Well worth a try. Most reviews mention that this place is relatively expensive for the Cape Town downtown area; that’s true but I’d argue it’s worth it. Visiting from London we found ourselves in need of a dinner option and the first two Google reviews I read were emphatically positive, they were right! We were advised by our waiter that two dishes each as a couple would be sufficient to start with but I think we ended up having about 7 in total as we’re hungry guests. If we’d have had room we’d have had more!! All of the food was delicious but the star of the show for us was the confit duck and waffle a genius take on crispy duck pancakes!! We booked last minute on a Monday night in Feb and the restaurant wasn’t busy, but from other reviews of wanting to go at a more popular time than us, booking ahead is advised.

The food is fantastic, as is the service. The owner (Ed) is a great English guy. You won 't be disappointed with anything here. The only downside, if anything, it 's a bit expensive (compared to other local African restaurants). But worth it! Final tips: the tuna dish and the 'plankie ' steak.
