I want to highlight his skillfulness and adaptability, as my father has a thick Scottish accent that often makes it challenging for him to communicate with waitstaff. Our waiter was not only patient in navigating this difficulty, but he also remained polite and made a genuine effort to understand my father’s needs. It was truly excellent service, perfectly complementing the amazing food. Keep up the great work!

Absolutely fantastic! The food was incredibly delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the staff were so kind. I arrived soaked from the rain, and they quickly brought over a heater to warm me up. How thoughtful is that? We had the pepper filet and the regular one—oh my goodness! If only I lived closer... this was probably our favorite place to eat during the whole trip!

I visited for a Sunday roast and was pleasantly surprised. The prices are reasonable, the food is delicious, and the service is outstanding. The organization of the 'first sitting' and 'second sitting' is superb. While the entire menu is flavorful, the Sunday roast offers exceptional value for money. They've also added new covered seating with glass doors, which is perfect for when the Cape Doctor makes an appearance. There's still a nice area for open seating under umbrellas. The views of the sea are impeccable and completely unobstructed. Thank you, Dixie—it was wonderful to showcase what Cape Town has to offer to our out-of-town guests!

The food was excellent, though the wait was quite lengthy. The steaks were cooked to perfection. It was incredible to spot whales in the water, which had everyone in the restaurant rushing outside to take photos. Because of that, the wait wasn't an issue at all. I highly recommend it for a delicious steak!
