What Maxsellar doesn't like about Tai Hong Restaurant:
Only positives of this experience, our server was polite and the food was fast. Food all tasted the same. Extremely bland.Needed to ask for soy sauce. According to my son when your food arrives faster than an order at McDonalds you know know it’s a problem. View all feedback.

When here in Newfoundland, we try to get our fill of pan fried cod and Jiggs dinner but always get this food once during our stay. We'll either take it back to our room or take it with us to eat on the ferry. Sadly, it doesn't make it onto the ferry as we've already eaten it in our car in the line waiting for the ferry. Everything is tasty so you can't go wrong. This experience happened in July 2019 but this scenario has played out many times over the years. Sorry for the lateness of the review.

We ordered takeout from this restaurant the night we arrived on the ferry and enjoyed it at our nearby bed and breakfast. We loved every bite and there wasn't a single leftover. While the menu offers typical Asian dishes, there were some unique combination plates that caught our attention. The young lady who took our order was friendly and provided helpful recommendations. The owner of our B&B recommended this restaurant as her and her husband's favorite spot to eat out. Overall, one of the best restaurants in Port Aux Basque.
Of the hundreds of Chinese restaurants i've visted over the years from coast to coast i've never experienced dark meat sweet sour chicken balls! That's just wrong gross!
We drop by this place several times a year and once again, great food and service. The Waitress informed us they would be closing for a while soon but would re-open again. We ordered the house special. Only drawback here is that pop is served in cans and quite expensive compared to other restaurants.
