Was Christina Müller at Secondo a mag?

Our server Margot was very attentive and on point. My son’s crab and clam with spaghetti was very good as was my husband’s mahi mahi specialist entree. I chose papparadelle with eggplant, zucchini, squash and olives. There was no eggplant in the dish, and the red sauce was a thick heavy tomato, which was disappointing I don’t mind spending more for Good quality , but that dish was nothing to write home about. What david parry dislikes about Secondo:

Service was slow we sat for 20 25 minutes before anyone approached our table. Food order was not taken for another 15 minutes. We were brought the wrong glass of wine. Food was ok I think they were short handed it was Christmas Eve. Disappointing overall View all feedback.

The food at this restaurant is consistently amazing and the service is top-notch. It is definitely one of our favorite places to dine.

Love this place.! The only thing is it is incredibly loud! They need better acoustics. Hard to hear those at the same table. They also need to be aware of the loudness of musicians and head staff should monitor this. People want music but we are not there for a concert.

We had the Eggplant Pesto and the special of the day, the Mahi Mahi. Both dishes were outstanding. The Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We were pamelas (our waitress) first table on their first night in secondo. If we were not told that we would not know that it was them. you know about menu, service and friendliness was perfect. we will be looking forward. it was a busy night and the host couldn't handle the pressure. his attitude was a little negatiw and restful. but another great night in secondo.

Not the best experience for the second week in a row. Clearly becoming a victim of not enough labor available, but unfortunately not adjusting their service and expectations accordingly We had reservations and were seated at Bar staff was overwhelmed, servers where overwhelmed, and to top it off they ran out of what we ordered for dinner and brought us something different but didn’t tell us until the food arrived. Food was good, ambiance was good, but this place will not get another visit from this group again unfortunately. Really too bad.

Host and owner ruined night... rude!!!! Delayed us very late and the owner tried to argue over minutes... our reservation was about 8:45 at 9:10 owners tried to argue, it was 7 minutes not their fault we came early.... we complained about sitting almost 30 minutes too late everything she could do is argue and do false mathematics.... Don't argue with customers!! Other guests complained about hostess with blond hair in blue dress then pregnant owner I use this term looslely in a hoodie very unprofessional... Such a shame that they ruined what might have been a nice evening. The oysters swim in the water because they melted ice for so long... they sent back. Pig chops were amazing. Couldn't do a proper check if witches guard the door. Sent salmon back unimpressed. I hate to give them a bad review, but had a very bad experience. Wouldn't come back.

To hear how big this place was from a very good friend, I must admit that I was disappointed (and trust me that I didn't want to be). I order two appetizers... Calamari and something they called a scattered, historyd jersey. I ordered Calamari from many different restaurants and they always have a diving sauce. There's a first one for this... no sauce. It also seemed to me very greasy... as if it came out of the frit and was tipped into the bowl. The broken jersey had a nice taste. It was crab between tomatoes with a sauce. It had layers and was also deep fried. I'm going in and had a difficult time. I'm pulling it apart to find out that the tomatoes had still tied the core. I'm telling the waiter and he said he'd take it out of the bill... doing the classic if he had. For my main meal I had Spaghetini. Very thin spaghetti with two shrimps (they had a nice taste), four shells (later found one of the broken shell in my mouth), four Calamari rings, two small neck claims and a beautiful piece of salmon. Except the shell in my mouth (what can happen... You as a cook just have to be careful and pay attention) was good, but not $34 good (maybe $26 to $28). Nothing bad, but I don't think I'm going so far for an average meal.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience thanks to Devin! The food, drinks, and atmosphere were fantastic. Serving a party of 19 can be quite challenging, but Devin was incredibly patient and attentive, making sure everything went smoothly. We will definitely be returning! Wow, food here is incredible and our server (Dante maybe? I should have remembered was awesome and nice. My wife said the rigatoni with vodka sauce was the best she’s ever had. MY FIRST TIME DINING EXPERIENCE AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT AND MY LAST!!! CHRISTMAS EVE PARTY OF 6 SET MENU.. RAN OUT OF FOOD.. A DISGRACE TO THE RESTAURANT CLUB. ALSO NOT ENOUGH HELP OR SOME ONE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO ORDER THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF FOOD NEEDED TO COVER YOUR RESERVATIONS. WE WILL SUBSTITUTE!! OMG A TOTAL MESS ..AND AT $75.00 PP FOR CHICKEN PARM EVERYWHERE ELSE THE MOST 35$ DISGRACE A TOTAL RIP OFF..WAITED 1 HOUR FOR THEM TO TAKE A DRINK ORDER...ASKED FOR BREAD 3 TIMES NEVER GOT IT. Our first time visiting during our annual Wildwood Crest vacation. We visited twice and enjoyed the delicious food and great service. Live music and comfy bar area.

The food was delicious. For the appetizer we had crab balls followed by our dinners which included pizzas for the girls, Maui Maui for me covered in crab meat and a chicken Parm for my buddy. The music was so loud that you couldn’t hear yourself chewmuch less have a conversation with anybody including the waiter who by the way was very efficient but somewhat difficult tounderstand as he was new to our a great land. Perhaps if the speakers weren’t turned up so loud On the gent playing thekeyboard outside. With 10 less decibels in the dining room I think five stars would’ve been in order.

Secondo Panicos is U Do It approved! Mrs U Do It and I celebrated our 25th anniversary here and it was wonderful! We arrived for our resetvation 15 minutes early and we had drinks at the bar while we waited for them to open for dining. Our waitress wassuper friendly. We had calamari and fried mozzerella for the first course. We love it here!

Well there's a first for this one...no sauce. It also seemed verygreasey to me...like it came right out of the fryer and was dumped in the bowl. The battered jersey did have a nice taste. Itwas crab between tomato with a sauce. It had layers and was also deep fried. I go to cut into it and had a difficult time. Istart pulling it apart to find out the tomatoes still had the core attached. I tell the waiter and he said he would take it offthe bill...the classy thing to do if he would have. For my main meal I had spaghetini.. Very thin spaghetti with two shrimp(they had nice flavor), four mussles (later found one of the broken pieces of shell in my mouth), four calamari rings, twolittle neck claims and a nice piece of salmon. Except for the shell in my mouth (which can happen...you as a chef just have tobe careful and pay attention) this was good but not $34 good (maybe $26 to $28). No offense but I don't think I'll be drivingthat far again for an average meal.

We went to Secundo to celebrate a birthday and arrived early for drinks and some half-price oysters as advertised on their menu. However, when we received the bill, the oysters were not half-price. We raised the issue, showing them their own menu, but the on-site manager had to contact the owner for permission to honor the advertised price. Unfortunately, the owner refused to honor the clearly stated pricing, citing inflation as the reason. This is a case of false advertising and poor customer service! How long does it take to update your online menu? After paying our bill, we chose not to stay for dinner and instead enjoyed a wonderful birthday meal at a local Italian restaurant in Cape May. We will not be returning to Secundo and would not recommend it to anyone!

The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We will definitely return the next time we're in Cape May. We enjoyed dining outside by the water on a beautiful September evening with friends.
