Smokehouse - Cape Girardeau

Love, love, love Smokehouse 61!! When I first moved to Missouri, I was having a hard time finding good BBQ. I was always disappointed with the local BBQ places until Smokehouse opened up! Their pulled pork is amazing! It is so good it doesn't even need sauce! Their potato casserole is just as amazing! My husband has had the brisket, ribs and smoked pork steaks and he says it is all wonderful too! We love this place so much, we had them cater our wedding reception this past October and all of our guests raved about the food! : The owner and staff are always very friendly too : I highly recommend Smokehouse 61!! :

I really enjoy the food at this restaurant. It would be even better if all the staff were friendly. It doesn't cost anything to be nice, but being rude does. Updated review: everything has been resolved! The staff is super friendly and the food is great. I have been back multiple times.

The BBQ at this restaurant is truly amazing and, in my opinion, the best in Cape. The pulled pork, ribs, and brisket are fantastic, not to mention the delicious sides and homemade soups. This place knows how to do BBQ right!

Excellent BBQ. My wife and I really enjoyed both our sandwiches. I had pulled pork on Texas toast and she had the Southwestern Chicken sandwich. The flavor on both meats was fantastic. We'll definitely be back.

The pulled pork was just as good as their service. The ribs fell right off the bone which were nice and juicy. The sides were nice and filling too, I will never leave out of that place without their potato casserole.
