Imo's Pizza - Cape Girardeau

A great place to have a quick lunch for a college student. They offer a great lunch deal and are literally right across from the SEMO campus. The pizza is very good and the wings are as well. Parking can sometimes be very difficult and the dining area is really small too. But the staff is pretty cool and helpful.

I had a discount card, but the staff was unsure how to use it. My order took way too long to arrive! They initially told me my food would be ready in 20-25 minutes, but it took almost an hour—55 minutes, to be exact. Don’t lie to me; if it’s going to take an hour, just say so. Get it together!

I ordered three lunch meals but didn't receive one bottle of Coca-Cola and my manicotti. When I called the restaurant, by the time they brought them out to me, the manicotti was overcooked and nearly burnt. Overall, I experienced poor service and found the food unappetizing.

Cape Girardeau, visiting from Iowa, June 3, 2022. Ordered, picked up, and took back to hotel room. Absolutely the worst pizza I have ever had in my life (We were very hungry yet tried a couple small pieces then threw it away). This includes any I've had from my childhood to present. We opened the box and it looked like someone had smeared toppings on...can't explain it...but didn't even look like a pizza. Tasted barely better than its appearance. I rarely leave bad reviews for anything but had to warn people to avoid Imo's. I don't even know what to call that but I wouldn't even call it pizza. Avoid!
