Waffle House - Cape Coral

We had breakfast here, and everything was delicious! Cooked perfectly. The service was excellent ????

Wife really wanted to try the Waffle House as 1st time customers. I was leery based on mixed reviews, but we decided to give it a shot anyway. Food was very good, we thought the portions and prices were very fair, and I was actually surprised at thelimited menu choices, however it was a balanced variety and not at all overwhelming. MOST of the staff was great (including Joshand Nikki) except for our server (whom I will not publicly name). She had very poor table side manner and attempted to take ourorder before we even had the opportunity to view the menu. Despite her lack of customer service, we tried to be overly polite toher, yet she never smiled, she was short and almost bordering rude. I attempted my beverage order and she simply stated we don 'thave that, without offering until being prompted for alternative choices. She would drop our food at the table and immediatelywalk away without saying a word or inquiring if anything else was needed, twice she walked away from empty beverage glasses veryobviously placed on the edge of the table without proactively filling them until we specifically requested, and once we all hadour food, she never returned until she delivered the tab. My Wife really wanted Tabasco for her eggs but we refused to askbecause we were afraid the service would get worse. My 5 year old even stated I don 't think she likes us. Pretty obviousthere 's a problem when a 5 year old can understand lack of basic customer service and to top it all off, she was responsible for2 tables when we were there (7 people). I have previously worked in the restaurant/hospitality industry so I know how thatbusiness works, your tips are a big portion of your wage, and I can confidently tell you I 'm NOT the 1st or last customer toexperience this level of disrespect from this server. Hurricane Ian really walloped south west Florida, we have seen so many wind and flood damaged properties that its really mentally challenging to keep our spirits up, cue: Waffle House ! Nothing says comfort like strong hot coffee, some eggsperfectly over medium, crispy hash browns with cheese, add a perfectly crisp, fluffy, blueberry laden blueberry waffle withbutter and syrup all served with a smile. Its straight forward honest food, at every day affordable prices. Theres just no otherplace that feels like warm hug for your belly.

Came in at 1:30 in the morning and asked for a Hi-C, well my kind server misheard me and immediately brought me hot tea without batting an eye at what I would think is a pretty strange request. That being said my hot black tea is delightful and I am at awat their menu options, Waffle House they not only have tea it?s also pretty good.
