We had spaghetti alle vongole and the wild boar ragu, both were exceptional and the portion size very generous just what we needed after a long day of travelling. The waiter chose us an amazing pistachio dessert to complete our meal. Definitely visit here if you are in the area, you won't be disappointed.

This was one of the best, have the home made pasta Vongole with p... read more We have been in Italy for three weeks and have dined all over from the Amalfi to Cinque Terra. This was one of the best, have the home made pasta Vongole with porcini mushroom or Pici with pepper. We didn’t want to eat at a rest stop and luckily Googled and found Le Burle.

We're in Capalbio, or rather, no: you pass the hamlet of Borgo Carige on the side, and you walk up to the famous village, but you only stop if there's an event... read more We're in Capalbio, or rather, no: you pass the hamlet of Borgo Carige on the side, and you walk up to the famous village, but you only stop if there's an event going on. And yet, there's (almost) everything, including a small restaurant. I hadn't been there in the last 15 years because it's too close to home, and I wouldn't think of eating out so close. A serious mistake, because the food here is excellent, especially fish, but not exclusively, and you don't have to wash glasses and plates. At the back, hidden from the street, is a covered veranda all year round. The table setting is well-appointed, the service excellent, and the first courses, main courses, and appetizers are all good. I haven't tried the Maremma meat specialties yet. The wine list is interesting, with some from beyond the Alps. Reasonable prices.

The staff was... read more Delicious food in a picturesque setting. I'm not kidding, I really loved the decor—it's very welcoming, and they also have a spacious dining room. The staff was excellent and accommodated me right away, even though I arrived very early for dinner. The tagliata was excellent, though. It's been bookmarked. The dessert, whose name I can't remember, was delicious. The price was very fair. Thank you.
