The fo... read more The view from Ristorante Nettuno is breathtaking 2,500 year old Greek temples that have survived not only time, but the Allied invasion of Italy in 1943. The food at this restaurant is good. We were with a tour group and everyone was served the same meal of caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella made from the milk of a nearby herd of water buffalo. Our main course was a traditional spaghetti in a marinara sauce and for dessert we each received two small flavored mousse cups. Good place for lunch after a tour of the temples and museum.

They special... read more Our favourite restaurant in the area. Choose a seat in the main building, it's cooler and quieter as if there are any tours they sit in the loggia. They specialise in seafood and usually have a good choice of fresh fish which can be prepared in a number of ways. For most of the year there is an entrance to the ruins just at the side of the building.
