Definition of small batch brewing, Beer was great, and the conversation with The brewer was awesome. Can’t wait to get back!
I met David several years back. A friend told me that I had to go with him to meet his friend who makes the best beers I am likely to ever taste. Great time! And many have followed. Since then, I 've taken friends there. Must admit, I 'm not much of a beer connoisseur, but David is teaching me. He 's won many awards for his beers, including many out-of-state competitions, even an International Award! Over the years, I don 't believe I 've ever had the same beer twice, but it has always been good and like another reviewer said, well worth the trip. I 've never met a beer there I didn 't like. My most recent experience started with seeing a friend whom I had introduced to Sun Brewing enjoying the patio with his friends. I enjoyed a berry/fruity beer. Wow! But, I have to tell you about the trip before that. I was having a delightful conversation with David and enjoying a beer when a couple from Connecticut came in for a beer. We spoke while we finished our beers and I learned they were going to park their motorhome in the Cracker Barrel parking lot to spend the night. Well, I couldn 't have that! I invited them to the farm and they accepted. Caught a skunk that night, so they had not only the flavor of David 's fine beer, but also the mating season in the Mesilla Valley. Good beer, good company and local atmosphere. My new Connecticut friends and I will be back and no doubt I 'll meet local friends there almost every time I go. Does life get any better? Great prices, great food, great friends and great beer! Life is great!

If you're looking for glitz, you may be disappointed. If you are looking for wonderful craft beer, you will find it here. David has won many awards with his beers. Is he proud? You bet he is, but you will find his excellent beer at the price of most places domestic beers. But, don't go there expecting to find ordinary beer, you'll only find extraordinary craft beer and down home good company. I hope you will not only give it a try, but also go away agreeing with my recommendation!
Literally the smallest Nano-brewery I've ever been to. Only three beers on draft and each were in small keg coolers. The only place smaller is my setup in my garage. But don't let that deter you. The three he had were all very good. I tried them all. An IPA, a sour and a sour hybrid made with wine grains. All three were excellent. And at $3 a pour, they can't be beat. Take a Saturday afternoon and visit. You won't be disappointed. The brewer is David. Make sure you say hi.
Food is fantastic. ? the Cajun sausage was so good I'd slap my momma for some more. 5 stars and more if we could. We'll be back very soon with more mouths to feed and bellies to fill with beer.
