My husband and I ate here today and the food was DELICIOUS. I tried the mama and let me tell you... ..I could eat a whole bowl of this severity alone. My husband got the smashed Burrito, and he needed to say that it was gone before I could remember to make a picture. Sophie was our waitress and she did an excellent job. What User doesn't like about Ranch House Cafe:
The staff was friendly but not attentive. They seemed brief, but there is really no excuse for not paying attention to customers. The dining area was less than half full. Wait to sit for 10 minutes; 30 minutes from the time we ordered to the time we got our food 3 BLT and a hamburger; no cutlery, no napkins. This place is not good, food is nasty. Waited a hour for our food and it came out cold and nasty. 5 people cost $88.00 not worth it.
Wonderful breakfast diner with friendly customer service, staff members continually checked on us and refilled our coffee and drinks. We ordered the Ranch House combo with scrambled eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, and biscuits with gravy. We also ordered the Texas size pancake with strawberries and French toast with sausage. Everything was perfect and delicious!
Something special. Every time I pass through Canyon, I stop here for a meal. There might be a better place in town but I don't even want to spend the time looking. Something for everyone. Very consistent even when it's been a year or two. The menu is huge and we have never been disappointed by any menu item. I just cannot say enough.
We waited nearly an hour for biscuits and gravy, and there was only one other table of three ahead of us. When our food finally arrived, the biscuits were hard all the way through. This was our second visit, hoping for a better experience, but we left feeling quite disappointed.
The restaurant is quite busy and lively, but the waitstaff do their best to keep up. The food is really delicious, and I always leave feeling satisfied!
