Black Bear Cafe came highly recommended by a friend, so my mom and I decided to check it out for lunch today. We were greeted by very friendly staff in a clean and comfortable atmosphere. The food was truly fantastic! We will definitely be returning.

Black Bear is a charming café that offers delicious food and excellent service. I tried the vegetable plate, and the sweet potato sauce and pinto beans were fantastic. The rolls were also incredible! We will definitely return to eat there again when we're in the area!

Nothing special, just a small town greasy spoon cafe. No big deal for us as we grew up eating in these places. Food was pretty much as expected. The fried mushrooms were really good and perfectly cooked. The fried catfish was light and not greasy. However, the fried Okra was not cooked crypt enough, the Hushpuppies were not done in the middle, and the chicken Alfredo was bland and not very creamy. Service was fast and friendly, but overall would probably not return.
