Bamboo Express - Canton

Bamboo Express is great! Edward and family are wonderful people and provide a great meal at a fair price. If you haven’t given them a try, drop by and give them a chance to Wow you.

Bamboo Express has quickly become my favorite Asian restaurant. The quantity of food in one dish is enough for a family meal. But more Importantly, it tastes amazing! My mother likes the shrimp fried rice. I like the fried rice and the noodles.

Prior to this visit, I have eaten at Bamboo express several times and each time it was really good. I ordered sesame chicken, plain fried rice, cream cheese wontons and chicken wings. My food was horrible...the rice was dry and hard, the sesame chicken was rubbery as if though it had been re warmed or something. The chicken wings were not seasoned. I am not sure if they have changed cooks or their recipes but I utterly disappointed.

Ordered black pepper chicken. Tasted like General chicken that had been blackened to burnt, rather than chicken seasoned with black pepper. The burnt taste from the chicken permeated the fried rice, as well. I couldn?t eat it. I ordered my son plain lo mein. They really mean plain- no onion, celery or other complimentary veggies typically found in ?plain? lo mein. Just noodles and soy sauce. But honestly, that?s the only reason I?m giving 2 stars- my son liked the noodles.

Outstanding food and service. Excellent value for the money. Bring your appetite though. I?m a big eater and ordered the black pepper chicken lunch special. I wound up going home with food. The black pepper chicken was phenomenal by the way. Will definitely be going here often.
