What User doesn't like about Tudor Tea Rooms:
delicious food, but chaotic service, as the waitresses who brought our drinks were unclear what was coffee. we spent almost £50 on eating and drinking, but the older waitress ( mid-fifties, shoulder-length mausige blonde haare) was rude for me and my...2 daughter during the visit. they would benefit from training in customer service and in fact from simple good ones. Determined to have ham, egg and chips. I wish I didn't. the meal had a peculiar taste. the ham was so salty and a funny color, so I tried to cover the taste with tomatenketchup, but found me gagging. I had the...the kindness to complain and give it back. the waitress was so declining. She tried to apologize, but I just felt worse. they offered me nothing else. the tee was terrible too! my man was so embarrassing in her attitude. I will never visit again. So thank you for giving me a angry little bite all afternoon. I am diabetic and too much salt is as bad as sugar for my health. Thank you for ruining my day I couldn't do for a while.
Just on a day trip to Whitstable and we came across this find. The food was fresh, tasty and filling and we opted for the three course lunch menu which was very good value. The staff were very friendly particularly June who waited upon us...and bent over backwards to make us feel comfortable. Thanks for a lovely time and we will come again.
Scones fantastic. jam could not be a drinking money, even if it comes in the small glasses. real cream, not, uh, decide very much that you'll scare tea shopping if you like that. the personal seemed a bit grumbling, but that's not America, we don't want to...Other a beautiful day
