Quickly seated and Abi took our order-at the bar. Very helpful at the bar with ordering of gluten free food options. Group of 5 of differing age’s. What Georgiana R doesn't like about The Punch Tavern:
Meat servings on the carvery were generous. The veg was poor, the meat was soggy, and we had over 30 minutes wait for a carvery calzone which had similar issues as the meat and veg on the actual carvery. Love the ice cream bar, despite the odd colour of the ice cream View all feedback.

Others had the deep cheese cake, sticky toffee pudding and apple pie, everything was delicious.
On a brief visit to the area we stumbled across this hidden gem, we stopped for our breakfast and were pleasantly surprised! On the outside it looked very much like your usual chain Resturant, on the inside we were really impressed by the outstanding level of customer service, the quality of the food and the amazing value. We will be sure to visit again next time we are near. We were initially greeted by a lady called Abi who was polite and friendly and explained how to order showed us to a seat that met our needs. I then went to the bar to order where I was greeted by a man called Graham who couldn’t have been more helpful, He had seen that I had mobility issues and offered to assist me to carry drinks and food to the table to save me struggling this was much appreciated and surprisingly doesn’t happen often! The food was hot, well presented and of really good quality for the brilliant price! I would recommend a visit to the Punch Tavern we will most certainly go again!
Nestled amidst the idyllic Kent suburbs, enveloped by bucolic fields and graceful equines, this establishment exudes an air of serenity. Impeccably maintained, it offers a dining haven where tranquility reigns supreme. The extensive menu caters to all palates, ranging from cherished classics like burgers to the pièce de résistance, a delectable and freshly prepared carvery, not to mention their exquisite pizzas. Unbeknownst to my companion and me, we stumbled upon this gem while in search of a reputable carvery in the esteemed Canterbury vicinity. Opting for the substantial carvery myself and the enticing steak pizza for my friend, we were swiftly attended to by the efficient staff. The culinary delights arrived promptly, brimming with freshness, tantalizing our taste buds. Among the personnel, one particularly stood out—a paragon of kindness and affability, surpassing any encounter I have had with service staff in recent memory. In its entirety, this was an enchanting experience, rendering the establishment an exceptional choice for a convivial outing with the family. Whether one seeks the comforts of indoor seating or the allure of al fresco dining, this venue caters to every preference. With an extensive array of draft beverages and non-alcoholic options, this establishment effortlessly satisfies every requirement. For those yearning for an authentic and quintessentially English carvery, the Punch Tavern reigns supreme—an unwavering epitome of excellence.
You will not be disappointed. Lovely food. Attentive staff and cool drinks. What more do you need. I advise you log on to their WiFi to scan a d pay as signal in the area is not great
