My wife, our friends, and I recently dined at this restaurant and felt it was time to share our experience. The Sunday dinner was exceptional, with a variety of meat options and a selection of mixed vegetables for guests to choose from. On a recent visit to the Haywain I chose paella for lunch as I had tried it before and really enjoyed it. Sadly not this time! A very modest dish for £17 of oily rice, a few prawns and pieces of chicken but far too much chorizo which left everything tasting very salty. I counted at least 16 pieces and had to leave some.
