After nursing a sick husband for 3 weeks I decided to have a little me time while shopping at my local Sainsbury. I checked and the Oriole was open till 4pm. What it didn 't say on the website was that the coffee machine was switched off at 3pm and as it had just been cleaned, I didn 't get my much need treat. Perhaps the website should say no coffee after 3pm to save others being similarly disappointed View all feedback.
What 03531 doesn't like about Lime Tree Cafe:
Usually love this place and have a hot drink and slice of their banana cake most weekends. Feel absolutely cheated just now for the thin slither of banana cake I've just had put in front of me. Sorry, but I've had it enough times to know you've given me a half portion. View all feedback.

Nice little cafe. Super clean and decor is modern and nice . Great place to do work remotely . Coffee is nice. Food portions are teeny though ….. like very very small . Prices are overinflated especially when portions are kid size .
This place is a wonderful venue with great surroundings . Coffee was excellent unfortunately some members of the staff are not. They didn’t take cash none in till. Wanted a refill to a Americano was told they only do refills for filter coffee even though the menu has two prices for Americano one for refill and one price for full . The young staff were rude and abrupt. My partner came back to say what the young lady had told her. I approached her to show her the menu. They were mumbling under there breath as I approached counter. She confirmed what she had originally said. As I went to get my partner to leave they again started laughing and obviously discussing the conversation. Very unprofessional and I would not recommend this place . They will be glad I’m sure that we won’t be going back.
Went to The Oriole today with friends for lunch. It's a good venue with great views over the cricket ground. However, it was disappointing to find no tables were free. It seems it has become a glorified office for working and meetings. One woman at the back had spread her work out on a table for eight and her partner was also taking up space on another table for six. Students without drinks were on other tables. It definitely needs a sorting out. Needless to say we departed to the gate Inn spent over £80 that would have gone into the Oriole till if it wasn't for this selfish inconvenience. Time to sort it out owner.
