Golden Wok Chinese Takeaway

I ordered a meal for my wife and myself while staying at the Alberta Holiday next to the Golden Wok. We ordered chicken chow mein and Lemon Chicken. The food arrived hot and delicious with generous portions.

This Chinese restaurant is the best by far! The service is excellent and the food is amazing. I would give it a rating of 5 for food, 5 for service, and 5 for atmosphere.

I usually go to a nearby Chinese restaurant, but since they were closed on Mondays, I decided to try this one. What a mistake! I spent £37 and regret it. The rice was off and clumped together like a packet of Uncle Ben's, the satay skewers had too much strong and thick sauce, and the chow mein was just thick noodles with bland black bean sauce. I will never eat here again. I would rather eat my own foot!

The flavors of each dish were outstanding. This was our second visit to the Golden Wok since moving to the area, and we both agreed it was the best Chinese food we have ever had. This time was even better. I highly recommend the lemon chicken with its delicious sauce. Overall, a perfect 10/10 rating.
