The staff and owners at The Bears Trading Company are extremely friendly and welcoming. The tearoom is delightful and offers great value for money. I wholeheartedly recommend this place without any hesitation. View all feedback.
We came for the afternoon (here called as a high tee in the conspicuous with the US/Trading Post theme of the tee room; we had the vegetarian version) as a birthday contract. absolutely tasty, lots of change and huge. the service is great, owners are beautiful, and it is very dog friendly. next to the Fab food, the gift shop is worth a look (especially if they bear like) the decor is well thought out, and the flowers in the farm garden really pleasant. I have no bad word to say, and when we are back in the opposite, we come back definitiw. thanks for a wonderful afternoon!
I was a regular customer of the bears when he opened his doors in 2017 completely, I had written an article about his concept for a local media. I got from him a kind of charming, seductive selection of cakes, baked and ice, plus dedicated employees and fantastic make that fabulous host. coffee and cake was my Sunday sinterlude, but then it stopped when they knew what was coming into the city. Today, at the rande of the sight, I came back and I am very glad that I did. it is still the warm, welcoming space that I remember fuzzy bears of all descriptions galore in every corner and crack of caffe, convenient wooden and chairs, a quirky sortiment of camping decorations and saucy cards, although it still has the anesthesia of the pandemic (they need to ring and introduce a bell). peter was his irresistible friendly staff when he greeted me back, and I was served by a sweet waitress who rattled the dauntingly long list of the cake. I've beaten the cocosnus and the cherry on their recommendation, and it was even better than the prediction. I am glad to see that the bears still a series of sandwiches and his vaunted milkshakes and malt (I fear to go on this road if I never shake the habit). the coffee is exceptional as usual. the piece of resistance seems to be their formidable afternoon tea, as I advertise with two groaning platelets of cake, finger sandwiches, scotch eggs and many other multiish morsels discovered. I will have to sink my teeth and claws into the future; because now I can confidently say that this place has the bear-needs that we have to step back and relax.
It is a strange mix of a coffee shop, tea room, teddy bear shop and a card shop all in one. running from two beautiful youngs. coffee is not the largest, but has a beautiful garden when the sun is out.
This afternoon had a high tee here to celebrate the birthday of my mother and if it were possible to give 6 stars, I would. excellent customer service, coworker so welcoming and accommodating and tasty eating well presented. we had 3 vegetarians in our party and there was a creative and plentiful selection of food that makes a pleasant change for a vegetarian afternoon tea. we bought some of the chutneys we had patterned, and there is a good choice to buy and also some wonderful gifts on the display. we will definitely visit again and would recommend this place to everyone.
