What Ellie Murray likes about City Fish:
for a fast eating stopped and was amazed! fabulous fish perfectly fritted and a budding golden chips, but it was the service she had dealt: very fast, extremely helpful and attentive (we sat outside in the sun to eat). View all feedback. What Max Watson doesn't like about City Fish:
I was excited to see a chippy with a whole "vegan' menu, so I asked her to confirm if the chips were completely vegan. I said they are fried in the same oil as their fish, so I avoided. it depends on personal preference, but I wouldn't eat here. View all feedback.

read moreCity Fish Bar has a longstanding reputation as a go-to spot for tasty fish and chips in Canterbury, Kent. However, recent reviews suggest a decline in quality and an increase in prices. Customers have reported receiving small portions of soggy chips and lackluster batter on their fish, all at a relatively high cost. Some have also mentioned feeling overcharged for basic items like water and condiments. On the other hand, positive comments highlight the delicious food and exceptional service, with some customers praising the vegan options and the attentive staff. While the mixed reviews suggest inconsistency, those who value friendly service and well-prepared fish dishes may find City Fish Bar worth a visit.
