Take note to go early because reservations are not allowed. The restaurant is tiny and you will need to queue. There could be many more tables outside but they just had a few.. in the end slow service and not so considerate of people that have been waiting for a long time. View all feedback.

Restaurante com uma excelente localização e comida caseira muito boa. Vale a pena dar uma oportunidade ao restaurante. O bacalhau da avó foi o prato que acolchoámos.
An excelent experience for those who can apreciate the strong traditional dishes from this region. Perfectly cooked and with very high quality ingredients. Even the red wine “da casa” is very good! Since Piódão the amazing stone village got such a touristic relevance, the restaurant could went the easy way of lowering the high standards, but happely it as absolutely not the case!
Please try the goat. It was one of the best homemade typical dishes I have tried! Staff was extremely friendly as well! We tried the local dessert too and was super good. The goat stew is only 12€ and comes with a side of potato and broccoli. They also brought us a set of starters including homemade jams and butter and spreadable alongside olives. Would defines recommend!
Bacalhau da avó (codfish) chanfana (goat) are excellent! Manteiga de limão e queijo regional muito bons/ delicious butter with lemon and regional cheese. The young staff is super kind and professional. Nicely located in a lovely narrow street.
